Origin of Persian carpet
Carpet weaving is an essential part of oriental culture. Persian carpets stand out among the many varieties because of the variety and elaborateness of their design. The origins of carpet weaving are not fully known, but some stories suggest that the emergence of Persian carpets, which were primarily functional, was a consequence of the development of nomadic life. Types of Persian carpets

Machine-knotted types are more affordable, but this is by no means a compromise on quality. Unlike human hands, machines place the fibres of the carpet with perfect precision, creating a timeless tapestry with all the qualities of a traditional oriental rug.

Cleaning the carpet
Cleaning Persian rugs can be easily done at home, provided the staining is not too severe. The first step is to remove any remaining dirt by vacuuming or dusting the fabric. Next, add a little lukewarm water to a wool cleaner suitable for use on wool, apply it to the stain with a sponge and gently blot it away. Rinse with clean water as a last step, taking care not to soak the rug.
