The minimal style and the carpet
Today, the minimalist style is becoming increasingly popular in home interiors. A beautiful marble floor that you pay a huge amount of money for makes your home very elegant and you don't need a carpet because the floor is beautiful. A lot of our customers have done this, but over time they have realised that it's too cold. Stone is stone. It's a much nicer feeling to have a carpet underfoot instead of a hard floor.
Carpet and the spinal hernia
Whether your heel cushions your gait on a soft floor or on a hard floor is not the same from a health point of view. This cushioning has an effect on the health of our spine. When running, it also makes a difference on what kind of ground you wear your shoes. This is especially important if you have already developed a spinal condition. I have long suffered from spinal hernia and the nerve problems that go with it. The pain radiates into my legs. When I walk on cold or hard floors, I feel the nerve pain more. Modern carpets for modern homes, but the real imitation of a Persian carpet is the acrylic Persian carpet.
However, if you need not only "a carpet" but quality, a status symbol, then a handmade Persian carpet. An oriental carpet will stay with us for a lifetime. You don't need to replace it every 4-5 years because it will get ruined. In fact, there are hand made rugs that only become more valuable over time. Such as silk carpets or our other exclusive carpets.
Machine made carpets have a life expectancy of one tenth that of handmade carpets. Machine knotted carpets are mainly made of polyester.
However, there is one category that is different from other machine made carpets, and that is carpets knotted from acrylic fibres. Acrylic carpet has similar properties to wool carpet, but is not damaged by moth. Its thickness is around 10-12 mm. With its beautiful colours and elegant Iranian patterns, it is an ideal pattern for a living room or bedroom rug.
