Machine made carpets by acrylic

Acrylic Persian carpet has similar properties to the wool carpet. (Moths will not damage Persian carpet made of acrylic, which is a great advantage in terms of durability) Acrylic is the most resistant fibre to sunlight and weather. The heat retention and softness of acrylic are most comparable to wool. It is easy to wash and dries quickly.  Its flame resistance makes it an excellent decorative material.   On its own or as a fibre blend, it is often found alongside wool, especially in knitwear, cardigans, sweaters and now also carpets.  Acrylic is a low-density synthetic fibre with a woolly texture that does not lint, shrink or shrink and is easy to wash.
